Anthony P. Takitani received a law degree from Southwestern University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He formerly practiced with the law firm of Galiher DeRobertis Nakamura Ono Takitani, Law Corporations. Following law school, he clerked with the Honorable Boyd P. Mossman, judge of the Second Circuit Court, State of Hawaii. He is licensed to practice before the state and federal courts in Hawaii.

Mr. Takitani presently serves on the: He a former delegate to the Hawaii State Constitutional Convention and a former member of the Hawaii State House of Representatives. He previously served on the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation, the Maui United Way and served as Maui United Way Distribution Chairman, the Motor Vehicle Insurance Task Force, the Maui Memorial Medical Center Foundation and the Maui Memorial Medical Center CEO Selection Committee.
